These Terms govern the use of this website. They do not, by themselves, create a lawyer–client relationship. A lawyer–client relationship is established only by a signed engagement letter with Wefaq Law Firm.
1. The firm
Wefaq Law Firm is a law firm established in the State of Kuwait. Our lawyers are licensed by the Kuwait Bar Association and, in certain cases, by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (England and Wales) as foreign lawyers.
2. No legal advice
The content of this website is general information only. It does not constitute legal advice for any particular situation. You should not act on any information on this site without obtaining tailored advice from a qualified lawyer.
3. Enquiries
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not, in itself, create a lawyer–client relationship or a duty of confidentiality beyond applicable law. Please do not send confidential information through the enquiry form until we have confirmed that we can act for you.
4. Fees
Our fees are agreed individually in each engagement letter and may be fixed, hourly, capped, or success-based depending on the mandate. Services are considered provided upon full payment unless the engagement letter states otherwise.
5. Liability
We commit to provide our services in good faith and with professional care. We are not liable for consequences arising from false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client. The client is responsible for the accuracy of the data they share with us.
6. Confidentiality
All information and documents received from a client are treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of the mandate, subject to our obligations under Kuwaiti law.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kuwaiti courts.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time by publishing the revised version on this website.
